Handling characteristics of different PWC models

Handling characteristics were measured with each of the four professional racers negotiating two circuits on a six buoy closed-course style track on each model. Times were recorded by FIT personnel. The Sea-Doo RXP-X and RXT-X watercraft again took the top two spots with the RXP 215 model posting the third quickest time and the Yamaha FZR nearly 2.5 seconds behind the leader.

Handling Testing: Averages of 2 laps on a six buoy closed-course style track for each or the four professional riders, temperature 64° F (18° C), wind WNW 7mph (11km/h), fresh water, PWC fuel = max capacity, times recorded by FIT Engineering Professors. Fuel consumption was also tested, see results.
